Erica Taxin Bleznak (E-RYT 200, MSW) began her yoga practice in 1995 in the Ashtanga yoga tradition, after suffering an injury while training for a marathon. That injury, unbeknownst at the time, was a gift that led her to the path of Yoga. In 2005, Erica met her primary teacher Yoganand Michael Carroll and completed the Pranakriya Yoga Teacher Training. She has been teaching classes and private yoga for over 11 years, and is continually amazed at the transformative aspects of the Practice. Erica believes that with patience, awareness, breath, and sincerity each asana becomes an invitation to know who we truly are.

Erica is deeply grateful for her teachers who have always guided her back to herself-to find the answers within- and continue to support her on this incredible journey: Her primary teacher Yoganand Michael Carroll, Connie Beaudoin, Paul Hedderman and Adyashanti.

Julie Pogachefsky (E-RYT 500) has been teaching yoga since 2001. Her first yoga teacher training was with Baron Baptiste. She received her 200 hour teaching certification from Corina Benner at Wake Up Yoga and her 300 hour Pranakriya teaching certification from Yoganand/Michael Carroll. Julie is also certified to teach Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga.

Julie has been studying the ancient yoga texts for over 15 years. She enjoys finding the every day usefulness within their sacred wisdom. Julie’s approach is to teach students yoga philosophy while actively engaging them in yoga postures, meditations, breath work and chanting. In her classes, Julie challenges your perceived physical and emotional limitations in order for you to find more space and freedom in all aspects of your life.

Lori McAlister (E-RYT 500, YACEP) has been teaching yoga since 2004, but her practice began almost a decade earlier in college where she studied modern dance and choreography. Her classes draw upon these 20 plus years of experience studying with everyone in New York City she could. Stand out teachers include Dharma Mitra, Sharon Gannon and David Life, Alan Finger, Cyndi Lee, Twee Merrigan, Coral Brown, Shiva Rea, Rodney Yee, Colleen Saidman, Kaustaub Desikachar, Schuyler Grant, Alex Auder, Nikki Villela, David Regellin, Allison West, Elena Brower and countless other vinyasa teacher colleagues.

Having now taught all over the globe, Lori loves being a yoga educator. In 2012, Lori created Sequencology, a yoga teacher training that combines intelligent sequences along with subtle body support to effectively transport the practitioner into homeostasis.

Lori’s classes focus on the power of breath, anatomical alignment, and subtle body energetic awareness. The combination of these elements can open a portal for self-healing by calming the central nervous system and resetting the rest and digest function.
